From business writing and web site copy to well-researched articles and entertaining blog posts, I produce writing that’s highly readable, targeted, and designed to engage. I know the audience and write directly to them, whether they’re an executive board, preschoolers, or a rebel band of punk rock motorcycle riders.

Editing and Proofreading

Do you need an editor or proofreader? You’ll want someone who knows the rules of grammar. Well, I know those rules. More importantly, I know when to break them. Sometimes it’s okay to start a sentence with and, or use a little slang, even a smidgen of profanity. You don’t want a persnickety literary snob proofing your work, and you also don’t want someone who doesn’t know the difference between a split infinitive and a dangling participle. You want someone like me.

Critiques and Reviews

If you know the mechanics of your writing are solid, but you have deeper questions about your work, then I can answer those questions, and help you mold your written work into something that’s one step closer to becoming a masterpiece. Will the audience be sympathetic to your characters? Is the plot compelling? Have you written a page turner or something that people are going to read to help them fall asleep? If these are the questions burning a hole in your brain, I can give you answers. My critiques are honest and forthright, but I’m a writer too, so don’t worry. I’ll treat your story with respect and sensitivity. And I’ll help you make it even better than it already is.
